Study Program of Chemistry emphasizes on humanizing students to become knowledgeable and competent in addressing and solving related problems through research and development activities in the field of chemistry. We are determined to holistically nurture and educate our students to be innovative with distinctive leadership qualities and compliance to standards of ethical conduct as a form of "Melayu" culture. All this, while equipping them to be responsible in engaging and contributing professionally towards environmental well-being and sustainable community. Our strong commitments to teaching and research made us the best place for learning chemistry, pursuing successful careers, and performing research in the country.

Our study program comprises of 15 academic and 4 administrations staff members with excellent educational background to support eduction, research and community dedication; each making up our five main Academic Panels, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. Building on years of experience, these academic members serve as journal editors, journal reviewers, conference organizers, and are actively involved in dedication initiatives in the community. We currently have a Research and Laboratories Center with modern equipment, i.e ALPHA II Compact FT-IR Spectrometer, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, etc.
